Space frame projects are widely used in the construction industry, especially in buildings with high spans and heights, which often involves working at heights. To ensure safety on construction sites, different installation methods can be adopted for different situations. Here are some methods:
1. High-altitude assembly method: This method includes full-support method, partial movable support method, and cantilever method. This method is suitable for large-scale assembly of supports when lifting is difficult. When using this method, attention should be paid to the elevation and axis position to determine a reasonable assembly sequence.
2. Segmented or block-based space frame installation method: Welding and assembly of the space frame using this method must be completed on the ground. Utilizing on-site equipment reduces crane rental costs and significantly saves costs.
3. High-altitude sliding method: This method involves dividing the space frame into strip units and pre-setting sliding rails to slide the space frame to a pre-designed position. This type of space frame installation method is suitable for projects spanning multiple levels and situations requiring three-dimensional overlapping construction.
4. Integral Lifting Method. This method requires the space frame to be installed on the ground and then hoisted as a whole to a fixed position. This method is suitable for space frame structures within the allowable load-bearing capacity of the lifting equipment. During implementation, careful control of the synchronous lifting of the space frame is crucial.
5. Integral Lifting Method. This method requires space frame structures with multiple peripheral supports. It requires the installation of space frame lifting equipment on the structural columns to lift the space frame installed on the ground to the desired position.
6. Integral Jacking Method. This method requires the space frame to be assembled as a whole on the ground and then lifted to the design height using jacks. This method is suitable for point-supported space frames and requires excellent control over the verticality of the space frame.
